Adventure Week 2: Design, Build, Art

This week blends creativity with structure, giving campers the chance to design, build, and express themselves through hands-on projects.

Where Creativity Takes Shape: A Week of Art, Design, and Big Ideas.

Some kids love art. Others just need the right moment to realize they do.

At RAS Summer Camp, each week is designed as a themed Adventure Week — a unique, hands-on experience that gives kids something new to look forward to every time they come to camp. Families can choose one week or build a full summer, with 10 different Adventure Weeks offered throughout the season.

Design, Build, ART! is one of those ten — and it’s where creativity takes shape.

This week blends creativity with structure, giving campers the chance to design, build, and express themselves through hands-on projects. From visual art to creative builds, kids explore what it means to turn an idea into something real.

They aren’t just making crafts. They’re making choices.

What colors to use. How to design something. How to bring their vision to life.

And that ownership changes everything.

The Moment That Brings It All Together

The week ends with a Creative Showcase. (Parents welcome!)

Campers display their favorite pieces and walk others through what they made and why. It is part gallery, part storytelling, and a big confidence boost.
