Being a kid involves following a lot or instructions. This is the week they don't have to.
At RAS Summer Camp, each week is designed as a themed Adventure Week — a unique, hands-on experience that gives kids something new to look forward to every time they come to camp. Families can choose one week or build a full summer, with 10 different Adventure Weeks offered throughout the season.
Build a Beast! is one of those ten. Campers dream up creatures, characters, and creations that don’t exist anywhere else, and then bring them to life through hands-on building, crafting, and storytelling. It’s all about imagination without limits.
There is no “right way” to do it. And that is exactly the point.
Kids combine materials, experiment with design, and create something entirely their own. Along the way, they are building more than just beasts. They’re building creative confidence.
They learn how to take an idea from their imagination and turn it into something real they can see, hold, and share.
The Moment That Brings It All Together
The week ends with a Beast Showcase & Storytelling Experience.
Each camper introduces their creation. What it is, where it lives, what makes it unique. Some are silly. Some are fierce. All are original.
It becomes a full creative reveal moment, and one kids are proud to be part of.
