Get ready to slide into science! In this curling-inspired challenge, campers will team up, aim for the target (called the House!), and score points by getting their stone closest to the center. Tracking their scores and through multiple rounds–may the best team win! Let’s roll!
Sure Shot
Grab a bow and test your aim! Today we’ll explore how potential energy turns into powerful motion — just like real archers do. Pull, release, and watch your arrow fly as you discover the science behind every shot.
In this Adventure Week, campers will:
- Embrace Creativity and Self-Expression – Through activities like Design Your Own Olympic Medal, campers will tap into their creativity to celebrate personal achievements and uniqueness, designing one-of-a-kind medals that reflect their individual victories.
- Foster Teamwork and Collaboration – In Mascot Design, campers will work together in teams to create an Olympic mascot, learning the importance of collaboration and team spirit while participating in fun relay races and challenges that promote friendly competition.
